Recently we received an EB1B approval for a mechanical engineer who specializes in research on mechatronics and fluid power engineering. His work has resulted in nothing less than 11 peer-reviewed articles, 1 US patent, and a number of conference presentations. Indicative of his strong expertise is the fact that he had reviewed a total of 32 articles for journals. Additionally, at the time of filing the beneficiary’s work had been cited 80 times by independent members of the mechanical engineering international research community, indicating the broad significance of his work. Said significance is further confirmed in the following comment by an independent recommender: “The project was concerned with vital properties of the devices such as cavitation, noise, volumetric efficiency, and stabilities. Correlations between the design of valve plates, swash plates, piston assemblies, and others were theoretically derived in an effort to improve the pumps performance within the manufacturing stages.
